a. Personal Data:

  • Name, Email address, Grade level, School affiliation, Pre-registration contact details (for inquiry).
  • This information is collected with your consent to provide educational services and platform functionality.

b. Student Learning Data:

  • Lesson completion and progress
  • Activity responses and assignments
  • Speech/Graphic/Audio/Video recordings
  • Speech drafts and debate arguments
  • Skill mastery metrics and performance analytics
  • Time spent on platform activities

This data is used only for educational feedback, progress tracking, and learning improvement.

c. Technical & Usage Data:

  • Device and browser type
  • IP address (used only for security and fraud prevention)
  • Platform navigation patterns
  • Feature usage statistics

Processed in aggregated and anonymized form whenever possible.

3.Purpose of Data Processing

We process personal data to:

  • Deliver educational content and services
  • Provide personalized feedback and analytics
  • Enable parent and teacher dashboards
  • Customer support and communication
  • Platform security and fraud prevention
  • Legal and regulatory compliance

No data is processed for advertising or profiling purposes.

5.Children's Privacy & Parental Rights

Argumindo is designed for students aged 8-18. For all minors (under 18):

  • Parental consent is required
  • Parents may access, correct, or request deletion of data
  • Parents may withdraw consent at any time

We do not engage in targeted or behavioral ad-serving to children. We do not sell children's personal data.

6.Data Security

We use reasonable security practices as required by Indian law, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication and access control
  • Role-based internal access
  • Hosting on Google Firebase infrastructure
  • Continuous security monitoring

While we take strong precautions, no system is completely secure.

7.Data Retention

  • Active accounts: While account remains active
  • Inactive accounts: Deleted after 2 years
  • User-requested deletion: Within 30 days
  • School accounts: As per school agreement

8.Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with trusted third parties strictly for service delivery, including:

  • Cloud hosting (Google Firebase)
  • Payment processing (Stripe — Argumindo does not store card data)

Personal data may be processed or stored outside India, including in the United States, where our service providers are located. Such transfers comply with applicable Indian data protection requirements.
